Interpublic Agencies and Executives Honored at the American
Advertising Federation (AAF) 2010 Diversity Achievement and Mosaic Awards

NEW YORK, Sep 30, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) was recognized at the American Advertising Federation's 2010 Diversity Achievement and Mosaic Awards luncheon during Advertising Week. Chairman and CEO of IPG, Michael I. Roth received one of the day's highest individual honors, the Corporate LeaderAward. This award recognizes a leader who creates senior management commitment and implements successful organizational diversity programs for the company. Additionally, two IPG agencies, the IW Group and McCann Erickson New York, were recognized for their work with clients on multicultural marketing programs.

The event was held at the New York Athletic Club and attracted several hundred guests including agency executives, diversity leaders and clients. Honors were given to many clients and agencies recognizing successful multicultural marketing and diversity efforts.

Michael Roth, Chairman and CEO of Interpublic Group, said at the event, "This is an honor that should be awarded to IPG, not to one single person.
