Interpublic Declares Quarterly Dividend

NEW YORK, Oct 22, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- At a meeting on October 18,
the Board of Directors of The Interpublic Group of Companies (NYSE: IPG)
declared a cash dividend of 9 1/2 cents per share, payable on December 17, 2001,
to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 29.
