Interpublic Group Hosts Inclusion Awards Program
Agencies and Employees from Across IPG's U.S. Network Honored
New York, NY - July 31, 2013 - Today, July 31, 2013, Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) will host the IPG Inclusion Awards program in New York City. The event, co-sponsored by the IPG Multicultural Employee Resource Groups for Excellence (MERGE), honors agencies and employees from IPG's U.S. network who have shown leadership in advancing IPG's goal of being among the world's most diverse and inclusive companies.
Interpublic agencies and employees were asked to submit nominations for the nine award categories. Nominations were reviewed by MERGE leadership. The awards program is hosted by Michael I. Roth, IPG's Chairman and CEO, and includes remarks from Frank Mergenthaler, IPG's CFO and Executive Sponsor of MERGE and Heide Gardner, IPG's SVP, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Comedian/Actor Al Madrigal will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Hundreds of Interpublic agency and corporate employees are expected to attend the live event in New York, with more viewing the webcast in Birmingham, Chicago, Detroit, Huntersville, Los Angeles, McLean, Minneapolis, Princeton and Washington D.C.
